Responsibilities:


  • Know the aspects of good nutrition, hygiene and safety that affect a child's health and development.
  • Demonstrate physical comfort and tender care in handling babies.
  • Know how to prevent and control disease among children.
  • Be able to communicate with parents and other caregivers.
  • Work with children ranging from new born to kindergarten age children.
  • Be able to assist in a variety of situations including emergency situations.

Requirements:


  • Must hold an SVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent. Consideration will be made to applicants that are part way through their qualification, providing you have a minimum of 2 years current experience within a nursery setting and work confidently as a Practitioner.

Salary:
£17,680.00-£22,360.00 per year
