Description
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Our client based in Manchester City Centre is currently looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

You will have good knowledge of SANs and NAS backup software or cloud based backup systems and the networking interconnects.

You will be responsiblefor providing 3rd-line IT systems, cloud, and Infrastructure service delivery across the group.


Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving network and serverrelated issues.
  • Analysis of infrastructure, and capacity planning for future projects/growth.
  • Facilitating meetings with various technical teams and thirdparty vendors.
  • Own and develop the Network (WAN & LAN) roadmap.

Skills and experience:

  • Azure cloud networking experience
  • Virtualization technologies such as Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V, RDS, Terminal Services.
  • TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Solar Winds
  • Demonstratable Cisco experience e.g. CCNA / CCNP
