Our client is a family-owned and run business, with Toyota dealerships now in Grimsby, Hull and Scunthorpe. They pride themselves in customer service and are a long-standing family business that you can trust. There is now a position available at their branch in Hull, to provide support to the accounts function. The role will involve both working independently and as part of an experience team.


Apprenticeship Standard
Finance Accountant Assistant Level 2

Responsible to:
Senior Account's Assistant/Finance Manager

  • Daily Banking reconciliation, banking and postings
  • Purchase invoice coding, input and supplier statement reconciliation
  • Provide reception administration cover when required
  • Raise payments and post out relevant information in an accurate and prompt manner
  • Assist with chasing debts/debtors including sending out of debt letters in line with company procedures ensuring an efficient practise for monitoring and processing payments
  • Processing purchase invoices from our manufacturer integrated paperless system
  • Assist with expense systems and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with drawing up stationery orders
  • Responsible for general duties to include Good in Stock reconciliation to invoice, warranty credits reconciliation,
  • Any other ad hoc tasks related to the function

Who we are looking for

  • Good standard of education with a qualification in Maths and English
  • Previous administration experience
  • Previous experience of working in a fastmoving environment
  • Excellent IT skills including various packages including Excel
  • Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service/people skills
  • Polite, calm and approachable persona
  • Must be a team player with a flexible 'can do' approach
  • Must hold a full driver's licence
Desirable

  • Previous experience of working in an accounts department

Hours of Work
Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm


Rate of Pay
Apprenticeship Minimum Wage (£4.81per hour)

£4.81 per hour
