Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst - Financial Services. to £40,000


Previous Governance, Risk & Compliance experience within a corporate environment is essential for this varied opportunity created by internal promotion.

Exposure to the Lloyd's insurance market would be beneficial but not essential.


This Analyst role covers several key areas including Risk Management, Due Diligence / Corporate Actions, Data Protection and Registers and Records.

The role requires a reasonable level of Regulatory and Compliance knowledge as well as attention to detail,organisational skills and proven team working ability.

The role will also involve formal and informal briefing to staff on Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Risk Management topics which will therefore require good communication skills.

Duties

To carry out audit and file reviews and other work relating to governance, risk and compliance matters.


To undertake project work including thematic reviews, in line with the annual plan and risk register, and produce reports with recommendations.


To assist the Compliance Officer with project work and undertake analytical review work as directed and in line with the Lloyd's and firm's Business Timetables.

Maintain the firm's Risk Register and produce reports on any developments on a quarterly basis.


To stay current with all Lloyd's and FCA rules and initiatives and ensure they are implemented in day-to day working practice.

To produce statistical and Management Information as requested.

To ensure that all Lloyd's and FCA rules and initiatives are noted in the central running log and

implemented in day-to-day work practice.


To report on regulatory compliance developments and emerging issues; and to provide training to the business on such topics where required.

To analyse reports run from the firm's business systems and to brief team Members and other staff

members where required.

Maintain and update GRC policies and procedures.

To engage with Lloyd's staff on regulatory exercises and respond to any queries raised.
