Description

You would be the first point of contact at our gatehouse to greet visitors to the site, ensuring a warm welcome whilst maintaining site procedures for access.

This role is critical within the business and needs someone who is accurate and precise in the way in which they work.

Duties would include but will not be limited to:

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for receipting and despatching of loads in a timely and secure manner to assist in shift efficiency whilst using correct operational processes and procedures
Checking in vehicles coming onto site
Dealing with drivers
Controlling and checking contractor entrance vs register
Checking validity of contractor inductions
Perform contractor inductions
Communicate on internal radio system
Liaise with the Warehouse in order for the warehouse to be prepared accordingly and allocate bays for the vehicle
Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity

Qualifications
