MDS are an on-line retailer and distributor of industrial, commercial and automotive batteries based in Brimsdown.We have a vacancy for a Sales Administrator. This is a fixed term contract for one year as maternity cover. There is a possibility of full time employment at the end of this period depending on circumstances.
You'll be based in our North London office/warehouse - we are looking for someone who can fit into our small team, who'll be confident dealing with customers, extremely well organized and use their initiative in all aspects of the job.
Main responsibilities include:
Processing on-line customer orders and telephone orders
Customer quotations
Co-ordinating orders and dispatch for trade customers
Normal sales admin tasks
Requirements for this position:
Sales administration experience
IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Friendly and professional phone manner
Good planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Any knowledge or experience of the battery industry would obviously be an advantage but training will be given; using your common sense and the ability to think on your feet are equally important for this position.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00AM to 5.00PM with 28 days annual paid holiday including bank holidays.
Salary £28,000 per annum, paid monthly for the duration of the contract.
