The role:


In this role you will be an overall Product Owner for products within the organisation within the regulated insurance side of the business.

You will be working to develop and design products as well as being responsible for the approval, commercialisationand marketing launch of regulated products.

You will also be responsible for the end to end lifecycle management of product lines within the regulated sector.


Within this role you will champion all regulated products within the organisation and support on the overall delivery of commercial and strategic projects in line with the groups strategic objectives.


Key requirements:


  • Coordinate product planning, new product development and proposition initiatives in line with the organisations overall goals and in line with regulation
  • Be responsible for product rationalisation and end of life of product lines
  • Responsible for reporting on products performance and compliance
  • Deliver key information to relevant stakeholders
  • Product product development roadmaps in line with the businesses strategy and objectives
  • Deliver products that are in line with customers needs
  • Drive innovation and present new business ideas to senior internal stakeholders
  • Secure funding for new projects
  • Ensure you are supporting and staying in line with regulation and best practice. Govern all product processes and ensure compliance is in place for all products
  • Stay up to date and implement any regulatory guidance and compliance
  • Ensure all products are successfully price places and that the product will produce profit
  • Report on costings and cost analyses
  • Work collaboratively to internal teams such as Operational, Technical, Compliance, Pricing and Product Marketing, Commercial Data and Insight
  • Ensure all products are in line with competitors and market needs
  • Manage external supplier relationships
  • Complete due diligence of all product delivery partners
  • Comply with all required compliance regulations and ensures and handles all sensitive data information confidentially
  • Operate within ERMF, risk strategy and any other associated policies
  • Previous experience within a similar role and insurance or financial sector
  • Regulated industry experience essential
  • Product develop and product management experience
  • Project management experience
  • Business analysis experience
  • Market analytics and reporting experience
  • Market research knowledge and delivery experience
  • Dashboard and reporting delivery experience
  • Commercially minded
  • Passionate and driven to deliver successful products for the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills
