About the Employer:


A forward thinking and dynamic Contractor specialising in, Façades, Recladding Dry Lining, Decorating, Tiling and Fire stopping who have built an outstanding industry reputation on delivering first class construction packages within various sectors of industry including, Data Centres High End Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Educational and Health.

Throughout their 20-year establishment they've spearheaded the industry with dynamic approach and have built / maintained strong client relationships with some of the UK's largest construction firms including ISG, Kier, Galliford Try, Multiplex and McLaren.

They currently have an annual turnover circa £50m and our clients' prime focus is on packages ranging anything from £1m to £15m, working within London and Surrounding Counties.


About the Role:


We are currently have exciting opportunity position Health and Safety advisor to predominantly work within their Facades division working on mixture of Data Centre, Re-cladding and New Build projects in the London / Home Counties area.


You'll be reporting to the H&S Director and working in partnership with each Project Manager of up to 8 Live projects.

You'll be in control of managing your own time / diary and will be based onsite with occasional meetings at their Head office in Buckinghamshire.

Your role will include but not be limited to:


  • Helping with Preconstruction identifying safety requirements
  • Preparing safety procedures at preconstruction
  • Delegating processes to Project Managers
  • Preparing RAMS and Safety documents
  • Overseeing Sub-Contractors and Quality
  • Client Meetings
  • Working alongside H&S Director

About the benefits / rewards:

The guideline basic salary is £ £60,000, plus bonus, travel and vehicle if required


Requirements:

IOSH, NEBSOH OR H&S Qualification preferred, but essential as my client is prepared to invest in training and qualifications.


Essential is Façade and Cladding experience, so someone who has progressed from the tools and into Site Management with good H&S understanding and management skills, will be preferred.
