Teacher of Religious Education

Main / Upper Teachers Outer London pay scale (plus a TLR)

Required for January 2023


Tradewind recruitment are excited to be working alongside an outstanding, all Girls Catholic school in the London borough of Sutton in their hiring of a talented Teacher of Religious Education teacher to teach and inspire dedicated and enthusiastic students.


The school seek an organised and confident Religious Education teacher who thrives on making things happen and will have an ability to keep on top of the practicalities.

You will be a strong communicator with the vision and ability to teach and inspire studentsin delivering the departments objectives.

Deliver outstanding lessons in line with the RE Curriculum Directory of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales

Be familiar with and fully engaged in teaching the GCSE and A-Level courses in Years

Be proactive in building positive working relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers

Desire to work collaboratively within a department which shares resources and good practice

Desire to work within a department and school which seeks for form young people on an academic, human, spiritual and social level

Seek to bring students closer to Christ within a Roman Catholic school ethos which sees education as a vocation and journey in faith for all

Draw life from contributing to the extra-curricular life of the school and providing opportunities for the community to experience life to the full
