Introduction

Explore Plant & Transport Solutions is looking to recruit a Class 1 HIAB Operative to join the team based in Burton.

Main responsibilities

On time delivery
Completion of necessary paperwork
Safe delivery of product to customer
Positive impact of all customers
Maintain high industry standards of safety, health, and security
Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage
Ensure that the load is correct against the customers' orders
Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to make and respect customer's property; if in doubt, consult with customer and/or Transport Planner
Check goods off with Customers and obtain signature and print

Qualifications
Required

Full UK Driving licence
2 Years HGV driving experience
Current CPCS / ALLMI Card
Driver Qualification Card
Slinger/ Signaller
HIAB

Preferred

Have construction logistics knowledge / experience (desirable)

Allmi

D+E
CPCS (Hook )
Slinger Signaller
WAH certificate

Experience

Be able to work in an unsupervised environment
Flexible approach
Have a responsible attitude
Able to communicate to both Customers and other members of Staff

Skills/Knowledge

Be knowledgeable, have experience of and be comfortable with London driving
Would benefit from previous flatbed experience and load security
