Following a re-design of our school office structure, an exciting, brand-new opportunity for a Business Support Officer 2 has been created.

At Barden, we believe that every role within our school community contributes significantly to the overall success of our pupils.

As a Business Support Officer at our school, you will play an important role in the smooth operation of our school office.

Your responsibilities will span a wide range of tasks, including managing correspondence, maintaining pupil records and providing invaluable support to the school Business Manager.

You will serve as an important point of contact for parents, staff and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and efficient communication at all times.

You will not only be a vital part of our office team but also a valued member of our entire school community.

You will have the opportunity to work within the dynamic and fulfilling world of primary education, where each day presents new challenges and opportunities for growth.

Essential Qualifications

GCSE's at Grade C or above including English and MathsDesirable Qualifications

Business and administration qualification (NVQ and above)Essential Experience

  • Experience of Microsoft IT software packages
Commitment to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young peopleDesirable Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a school environment in an admin/finance role
  • Experience of working with data and producing reports
  • Experience with online payment systems (e.g. ScoPay)
