Description
We are looking at employing a Contracts Manager.You will be required to use your own initiative and be confident in the task in hand. The role will involve you liaising closely with clients, subcontractors and employees.
Our main office is based in Erdington, Birmingham but you will be required to goto sites, which are throughout the UK.
This will also require you to occasionally stay out of town. Having knowledge in the construction or shopfitting company will be ideal, but it's not essential.Part of the role also include:
- You will be required to meet with clients on site for the handover, walk rounds and completion of jobs.
- Provide quotations using either our inhouse system or spreadsheets
- Be able to manage a job from start to finish. This will involve pricing a job from either a site visit or pictures, ordering the material, providing the labour, adding the job to the programme of works and following up any snagging of the jobs that arerequired.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner making sure all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.
Experience:
- contract management: 2 years (required)
