Description
Telco 5G Core Consultant support will deliver Oracle Telco 5G core-based customer solutions for the consulting services organization.
Primary responsibility for the technical delivery and support of a customer solution. The Consultant will work with the delivery team and other vendors to successfully scope and deliver customer solutions.

What you'll do

  • Provide Professional services for Oracle Communications Cloud Native (CN) based 5G core NFs (PCF, NRF, SCP, IWF, UDR, NSSF, SEPP, SLF, BSF, etc.)
  • Services provided include network integration, system provisioning, capacity analysis, special feature implementation, Test Plan creation, and execution. CI/CD knowledge is a plus.
  • Service support delivery activities include onsite and remote support of new systems, technical discussions, explanations of proposed solutions with customers, development of methods of procedure, and other documentation as required by the customer.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed Methods of Procedures (MOPs), Completion Notices (CNs), project plans, and schedules of activities and deliverables.
  • Maintain use cases, call flows, policy rules, routing rules, and database query logic/scripts based on customer's Business and Service Use Cases.
  • Assist with resolving network faults, including performance metrics and call processingrelated issues.
  • Deliver advanced analysis of platform KPIs and statistics to generate trend reports and identify potential issues or threats to the Oracle platforms.
  • Follow up and update technical tickets on the customer ́s behalf.
  • Assist customers in preparation of maintenance windows execution: knowledge transfer regarding the activities to be executed, prepare customer documentation, identify risks and potential impacts and prepare contingency plans.
  • Attend emergency calls 24/7 to support and evaluate operational problems and issues, analyze, and perform workaround or solution on shortterm proposals.
**What you'll bring

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret and develop a detailed network/system drawing and excellent problemsolving/analytical skills.
  • Knowledge & experience of data communications concepts of network architecture, TCP/IP Protocol suite, SNMP, NTP, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge & experience with the following LAN technologies: Ethernet (10/100/1000/10G), VLANs, Spanning-Tree, and switching knowledge.
  • Knowledge & experience with VPN, IPSec, SCTP, TLS, IPv4, and IPv6, and Routing Protocols/technologies. Ansible Tower, Playbook, and REST API knowledge are a plus.
  • Knowledge of platforms framework and

Operating Systems:
Linux/Unix, Windows, Cloud Native (CN), Kubernetes (K8s), Grafana, Kibana, Jaeger, Jenkins, Selenium, Open stack, and Kubernetes certification preferred.

  • Knowledge & Experience in subscriber database technologies: HLR, HSS, SPR, EIR, ENUM, AAA, SDS, MySQL, DB query/scripting (pearl/python).
