An opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Advisor (early careers) to join a professional services organisation in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.


The team is made up of an Emerging Talent Manager, Advisor and Administrator who work alongside a wider HR and Talent Development Team.


The Emerging Talent Advisor (which will be the title) will work closely with the Emerging Talent Manager on the recruitment programmes for the Emerging Talent population including trainees, summer students and apprentices from onboarding to qualification.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Work with the Emerging Talent Manager to produce schedules and strategy for trainee and apprentice assessment days.
  • Manage and attend online insight sessions, school visits, and graduate university fairs and events.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote the firm's recruitment programmes on social media and other platforms.
  • Produce the first drafts for entries into publications.
  • Work with the Talent Development Administrator to ensure room bookings, catering, IT etc. is in place for assessment days.
  • Attend and support the running of assessment days.
  • Manage the organisation of the two week Summer Vacation scheme (approx. 6) and act as a point of contact for vacation students and supervisors.
  • Manage the onboarding of apprentices (approx. 8) working closely with their training provider.
  • Organise the trainee (approx. 8) and apprentice departmental seat rotation schedule.
  • Work with the Talent Development Administrator to organise trainee and apprentice induction programmes alongside the Talent Development team.
  • Organise trainee and apprentice networking and social events.
  • Manage end of seat procedures, in particular, ensuring appraisals are completed.
  • Help with the newly qualified programme.
  • Advise on and manage requests for professional qualifications.

We'd love it if you have already worked in the emerging talent/graduate recruitment space within the professional services sector, or who has experience working in an in-house recruitment/agency recruitment/talent development team.

Salary between £30,000 and £35,000.

The role is hybrid working.
