We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Support the site, HSE Manager
- Collaborating and getting buyin from all levels when producing or amending all site H&S documentation
- Understand all operational processes in order to support the wider site team in adequately assessing risk and for the purposes of producing the relevant documentation
- Support the operational team in the event of any H&S incident to ensure that all correct processes and paperwork are produced and logged.
- Ability to create H&S improvement plans and work to targets
- Provide day to day Safety, Health and Environmental assistance and advice to enable the site to comply with relevant statutory legislation
- Assist with the development, implementation and communication of all relevant HSE policies at the site
- Meet annual Safety, Health and Environmental objectives.

Now, here's what we need from you:
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Ability to deliver training in an enthusiastic manner
- Strong communicator
- Health and Safety experience (desirable)
- Warehouse & transportation experience (desirable)
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or willing to work towards a qualification fully funded by DHL)
- AIEMA qualification in Environmental Management ( (desirable)
