POSITION:
Internal Sales Coordinator


BUSINESS ENTITY:
SIG Ireland


REPORTING TO:
Operations Manager


LOCATION:
Omagh


OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The main purpose of the position is to deal with incoming sales calls, process sales orders and enquiries. Assist customers at the trade counter and offer sales, product advice and assistance to customers. There will also be a requirement to deal with suppliers in relation to product information and specification. Supporting external rep in the sales process, while providing an exceptional sales experience for our customers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working Closely with customers, colleagues, and suppliers in relation to product and specification requirements
  • Cash sale counter sales
  • Dealing with phone and counter enquiries
  • Process incoming sales orders, quotation requests and enquiries
  • Effectively involved in the sales process while understanding the customer's needs, to leverage further sales opportunities while achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication internally and externally
  • Support external sales team
  • Work closely with colleagues on the internal sales desks across all product portfolios
  • Listen to customer's questions and concerns, and provide answers or responses
  • Have the ability to sell our product range to potential customers
  • Any other duties that may be required
  • Customer focused

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2/3 years' experience of internal sales or customer service preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Selfmotivated with an ability to work as part of the team
  • Knowledge / previous experience of internal sales packages an advantage
  • IT skills associated with Microsoft packages (outlook, word and excel)

All duties and tasks are undertaken and performed in an efficient, accurate manner resulting in excellent service provision

  • Completion of cash sale processes
  • Quotation and project files up to date and in order
  • Efficient and timely customer responses
  • Internal sales targets
