Job Summary:
We are seeking a HR Advisor to shape a positive and inclusive work culture aligning with our mission.
Working along side the company Directors and Manager the role involves co-ordinating recruitment, employee relations, performance, training, compliance, and policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Lead recruitment for top talent in the hygiene and food safety sector.
- Collaborate with hiring managers for seamless onboarding.
Employee Relations:
- Cultivate a positive workplace culture through effective communication.
- Address employee relations issues and guide disciplinary actions.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal processes and identify training opportunities.
Training and Development:
- Assess training needs and develop hygiene and food safety programs.
- Coordinate compliance, diversity, inclusion, and leadership development training.
Compliance:
- Stay informed on employment laws relevant to the sector.
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with legal requirements.
Policy Review and Maintenance:
- Review and update employment policies in line with legislation changes.
Employment Contracts:
- Review and update contracts reflecting policy changes (Summer 2024).
Sickness Policy Enhancement:
- Propose changes to sickness policies (Summer 2024).
Absence Management Process:
- Develop an effective absence management process.
Employment Handbook Development:
- Update the handbook reflecting values, policies, and statutory requirements.
Onboarding Process Implementation:
- Introduce a structured onboarding process for the industry.
People Plan Creation:
- Develop a People Plan aligned with Pal International's strategy.
Training Framework Establishment:
- Set up a training framework for leaders at all levels.
Feedback and Appraisal System Implementation:
- Establish an annual feedback and appraisal system.
Employee Survey and NPS System:
- Conduct an employee survey and introduce an NPS system.
Recruitment Management:
- Manage recruitment in collaboration with managers and agencies.
People-Related Caseload Management:
- Handle grievances, disciplinaries, and absence management.
Operational Managers Support:
- Provide support to operational managers for peoplerelated issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or CIPD in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven HR management experience in manufacturing/warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of sectorspecific employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Demonstrated problemsolving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

£33,670.00-£35,322.00 per year
