Working Hours: 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday


Office Angels are delighted to partner with an established Academy Trust of an educational SEN provision in Coventry that are seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator to take on day-to-day responsibility of administration duties across the academy.

This role will enable you to add real value to the team and ensure the successfulrunning of a busy academy office.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Providing administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher, Office Manager and Staff members
  • Managing financial administration procedures and maintaining audit records
  • Providing advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others on administration systems
  • Monitoring staff absences / vacancies and booking agency staff
  • Booking training courses for all staff and manage the training database
  • Supporting the administration of recruitment including advertising, collating documentation, obtaining references
  • Ordering, monitoring and managing stock
  • Operating relevant equipment and IT packages (e.g. the school's MIS system)
  • Managing school licences and insurances
  • Ensuring the office and reception is kept tidy, organised and in good order at all times

Experience / Skills required for this role:

  • Clerical / Administrative (essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent literacy / numeracy skills
  • Competent use of IT packages including word processing, computerised accounting systems and school MIS systems
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations effectively
