WellConnection IOS Ltd is one of the leading Drillpipe and OCTG inspection companies within the UK. Due to new contract awards we are looking to recruit an experienced Drill Pipe/BHA inspector. There is scope for progression within this role and appropriate training will be provided if required.Experience and Competence
- Experience inspecting Drill Pipe, BHA and other associated drilling equipment
- Knowledge of Drill Pipe inspection standards i.e. NS2, DS1, API
- Ideally hold a valid ASTN Level II MPI Inspectors certificate
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all aspects of the inspection of Drill Pipe, BHA and associated tools as per instructions
- Liaise with Inspection Supervisor to ensure that inspection work is carried out in an efficient & timely manner
- Undertake any required training
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Any other duties required to meet business requirements, dependant on capabilities
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of Drill Pipe inspection standards i.e. NS2, DS1, API
- Highly motivated and able to work in a team environment
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driving license preferred
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Peterhead AB42: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
