Reporting into the Reliability Manager, this role exists to ensure the plant and site is functioning efficiently and effectively, carrying out planned maintenance, reactive troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, implementing professional repairs to equipment and machinery.

Expected to use high levels of initiative to prioritise technical issues to assist in the achievement of the Drinks

Factory KPIs, this role must work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern, days and nights. Shift allowance is paid £ per annum.

Key responsibilities


  • Responding to unplanned machinery breakdowns and performance issues, implementing resolutions
and repairs to return plant machinery to standard.


  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks to plant machinery.
  • Using the Computerised Maintenance Monitoring System to raise and complete work orders,
accurately detailing failure modes, root causes and solutions for all work carried out.


  • Take ownership of own training to ensure training KPIs are met.
  • Attend daily performance meetings to feedback on plant performance and contribute to workload planning for the shift.
  • Acting as electrically authorised person for site out of normal working hours, attending


This is a dedicated technical role; you will be expected to provide hands-on support and most of your time will be spent working on practical fault finding, repairs or maintenance tasks.


Whilst using your mechanical, electrical and controls skillsets and experience to diagnose unforeseen issues, you will be working with standard settings and processes wherever possible.


To succeed, you will need to be talented at identifying problems to root cause and you will need to form close partnerships with other departments, including Operations, Quality, Process and especially with Shift Managers and lead operators.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Diploma (NVQ or equivalent) in Engineering Maintenance or other appropriate discipline,
Level 3 Technical Certification (BTEC Level 3 or equivalent) in Operations and Maintenance or other appropriate discipline

Suitable electrical experience or qualifications to cover as site duty electrical associate (Electrical testing, fault finding and safe isolation up to 415v)


PLEASE NOTE


This is a shift work position and will be paid a shift allowance of £ per annum on top of the salary.
