Zest4Talent are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to join a growing company based near Portsmouth, Hampshire. Joining their Senior Management team, you will be offered a competitive salary of £50k (negotiable dependant on experience). A 35-hourweek and 28 days holiday (rising with service) and company pension scheme.

Previous experience in production and manufacturing ideally in the electrical/electronic industry however crossover from another industry will be considered
Experience in health and safety and environmental policy and procedures.
Be used to carrying out risk assessments and documenting findings ISO900
Excellent people skills and experience communicating with external suppliers
Leadership qualities with a positive and selfmotivated personality

Based at their head office near Portsmouth your day to day will include:

Overseeing the production and Warehouse teams ensuring they are meeting product specification
Liaising with MD to resolve post sales quality issues, developing new product lines and coordinating purchasing needs for components
Collaborate with MD and internal departments to support the development of new product lines and improve quality of existing product lines.
Liaise with Production supervisors to investigate any post shipment quality issues
Maintain a strong working relationship with sales to investigate customer concerns on product quality and resolve internally
Prepare compliance reports for all products as well as oversee product risk assessments
Ensure product manuals are kept up to date and ensure relevant technical content is included
Oversee goods inwards and despatch and overseeing smooth running when supervisors are on leave
Liaise with external suppliers to ensure your product specification is accurate
Manage the update of all technical specs and product Manuals
Attend and participate in Senior Management meetings
Occasional Site visits to customers
