I'm recruiting for a
Global Junior Insights Manager, for initially a 12 month contract, to join a worldwide and market leading haircare manufacturing company.

Based in central London, offering hybrid working.


The Global Junior Insights Manager is a key member of the Marketing team, responsible for supporting and empowering the business.

With a super curious mindset and a background linked to technical products, with statistical experience, your research and methodologieswill play an integral part with the insights to aid in the development of the latest innovation and strategic launches.


Job Role & Key Responsibilities:


  • Aid in the design and implementation of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies and research.
  • Support in managing third party agencies and ensuring projects are kept within budget.
  • Build and maintain an internal insights repository to maximise existing consumer data and insight and grow its visibility and use across the business.
  • Own and manage selfservice research platform to continually track consumer sentiment on key projects; scripting, fielding and analysing adhoc research.
  • Be integral in creating and delivering regular presentations to the management team.
  • Support the Global and Local Marketing Teams with adhoc research needs and queries.
  • Work in partnership within the wider Marketing team to understand the consumer needs of the innovation pipeline.
  • Support in the development of strong product concepts that are consumercentric and marketrelevant through organising earlystage testing with consumers.
  • Assist in organising and executing claims testing to ensure the new innovations launch to market with commercially relevant and compelling consumer claims.
  • Work closely with R&D and Innovation teams to embed the consumer earlyon in the new product development process.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the tech beauty market to gain competitive insights.
  • Be a champion for market and competitor data internally, responding to adhoc requests for data.
  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative market research.
  • Preferential to have familiarity fielding both inhouse research and working with thirdparty agencies.
  • Confidence analysing large data sets and presenting findings in a clear and informative way familiarity with FMCG data providers a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills, to manage priorities and numerous projects at once.
  • High level of rigor and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think beyond the obvious.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude and flexible approach to working.
  • Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills.
  • A curious, strategic thinker who is keen to challenge the status quo and turn data into actionable insights and compelling stories.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience in an insights/research role
  • FMCG, beauty, haircare, fashion and/or electronics a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Strong maths or statistic educational results.
