About the role:


You will work with the research active academics within the school to assist them in delivering research to time and budget.

Responsibilities will include supporting HR processes for research staff and procurement for research projects. Additionally, managing the process for maintaining accurate departmental records in relation to staffing.

You will liaise with central members of the University Research and Enterprise Division regarding all aspect of research management including contracting, data processing agreements and budget management.


Working with the Director of Research and school research committee, you will work promote school research activities and provide administrative support to the school research committee.


You will also support the wider work of the professional services team under the Operations Manager, e.g providing cover in the absence of equivalent School administrator colleagues and offering help at busy times of the academic year.

Vacancy terms:
Full-time or job share considered, fixed-term contract for two years
