As an Apprentice Financial Planning Administrator you will provide exceptional support to our team of Directors, Financial Planners and Assistants, ensuring a fully compliant service and excellent client experience is delivered at all times.


What will the apprentice be doing?
A Day in the Life of Apprentice Financial Planning Administrator

There is no 'typical' day Every day is different, and this is what makes working with us so fulfilling.

  • Office Administration
  • Receive incoming telephone calls and mail and handle appropriately, maintain office systems, including data management and electronic filing, make client appointments when required.
  • Technology and Office Systems
  • Provide e proficient data solution service, using office systems such as excel, PowerPoint, word, and outlook.


  • Client Service

  • Exceptional client service, organised and timely processing of administrative duties, prepare and update portfolios, respond to any client enquiries on administrative questions. Book client reviews and support with delivering the review service.
  • Business Development support events, office mailings and newsletters. outbound calls to assist with mailings, support Financial Planning Assistants with key referrals, proactive suggestions for improvement, attend client appreciation events
  • Self-Development complete any training requests, stay informed of system enhancements, keep abreast of compliance and regulatory requirements, maintain own CPD, enhance industry knowledge

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Fully and part funded learning and development programme that includes the CF1 Financial Services Regulation and Ethics
  • Develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of successful Financial Services Administrators
  • Free CII membership for nonmembers through the CII Aspire Apprenticeship Programme
  • Includes the CII CF1 study book and exam entry
  • CII and EPA resits are to be covered by the employer
  • Fortnightly workshops for the CF1 exam from our CII approved trainer
  • All workshops recorded and available ondemand
  • Interactive chat, forums and class note books for real time support and assistance from experienced financial services professionals
  • Exam tips, tricks, and strategies
  • Additional resources through RM Advance
  • Regular tutorials and assessments from an experienced financial services professional
  • R01 is available as an alternative to CF1. Suitability for R01 will be determined by a Skills Assessment completed by Skills Edge.

Annual wage
£17,000

Hourly Wage £8.72


Working week
Monday - Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm

Total hours per week: 37.5 hours a week

Qualifications

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) essential

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?


This apprenticeship can lead to a permanent Financial Planning Assistant role and onto Paraplanning and Financial Planning dependent upon on qualifications and competency gained through our development academy.
