PreSales ConsultantOur Client is a market-leader within the areas of managed services Cloud Services Design, Pre-sales, and Integration. As such, they are now seeking an ambitious, client focused and service driven Pre-Sales Architect with a proven track-record within thetechnology services sector, who is looking to take the next step in their career
As a PreSales Consultant/Architect you will work to support the creation of various cloud-based solutions and services for customers and will assist in building out technical capabilities with your expertise of datacentre and cloud services whilst assistingthe sales team to transition customers to cloud managed services.
You should have a positive attitude towards managed services as part of a strategy that may include hybrid-cloud adoption and integration to managed private clouds.
Ideally you should hold experience in/knowledge of the following:
- Demonstrable private and public cloud design and delivery expertise which may consist of; Storage, Networking, Virtualisation (VMware and Microsoft) and Data Protection (Backup and Disaster Recovery)
- Designing / implementing highavailability cloud architecture solutions
- Defining strategy for enterprise level cloud solutions
- Integration of existing onpremise Active Directory (AD) deployments with Cloud AD
- Analysing cloud and onpremise costs + ROI calculations to support Business Case for cloud solutions
- Analysis / identification of Applications for Cloud solutions (mapping workloads, IaaS, PaaS and private clouds)
- Implementing / hosting complex solutions on IaaS and configuring correct workload size and storage selection
- Implementing, configuring and replatforming large database solutions in Azure using SQL Server (or similar)
- Implementing hybrid connectivity between cloud environments and onpremise infrastructures using virtual networks, SD-WAN and Express Route
- Implementing PaaS services (websites, web/worker roles, database, storage, service bus, cloud services, Remote Apps etc).
- Understanding of cloud security requirements (IAM, Web Application Firewalls, Data protection, Digital Rights Management)
Salary £55,000 to £65,000 and OTE £110,000
