Our clients is a progressive and rapidly expanding buisness who are currently working on some of the largest capital investment projects in Europe, as well as working for a wide range of companies in Asia and North America.
Their clients include blue chip and world leading service providers in the energy sector, and equally high-profile suppliers in other's industries.
As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of infrastructure projects.
The role will primarily be office based, however, some site-based work and associated travel will be required from time to time.
- Act as a point of contact with clients on project deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a project, including requesting and issuing of information and offering ongoing support for client operations
- Attend client meetings within the UK, Europe and internationally either in person or via remote means for project kick off, progress and update discussions
- Reviewing client drawings and survey/project specifications, including review of all technical requirements
- Carry out geophysical survey specification writing for clients for client tenders and proposals as part of the risk management process
- Provide technical tender support to both clients and internal proposals
- Review incoming client geophysical data against client project deliverables
- Interpret incoming project data and produce offshore reports for further investigation, including use of GIS, Oasis Montaj and other software to interrogate data
- Produce GIS Charting to present and communicate to clients both in reporting and technical formats
- Assist with building GIS Projects for clients and update and maintain appropriate spreadsheets
- Technical report writing, including project bridging reports, technical notes, and final certification for project specific activities
- Writing, proofreading and reviewing internal client representative reports prior to client issue
- Carry out research on new technologies and equipment applicable to offshore geophysical survey
- Updating and maintaining project and database related spreadsheets for tracking and invoicing
- Maintaining database information including filing, updating and organising internal files and information
- A Bachelor's degree in geophysics or Earth science related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- GIS (ArcMap/ArcPro, QGIS) experience advantageous
- Excellent IT skills
- Have the ability to work as a part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks to tight deadlines
- High levels of accuracy and attention to details
