Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Supply Planner.

As part of the Planning team, Our prestigious client are currently recruiting for the exciting role of Supply Planner working on brands to be defined.

Your objective will be managing short term and mid-term supply to support ambitious sales targets, whilst meeting service level and stock holding objectives.

As a Supply Planner you will be at the centre of inventory and availability planning and will be instrumental in ensuring we meet our customer's expectations and drive improvements to customer experience


This is a temporary contract for the duration of 2 months with a pay rate of £19.23 per hour. You will be required to work on site Monday - Friday, 09.00am pm.

You will:


  • Manage the availability of all finished goods and point of sale items for your brands in the UK and Ireland
  • Manage the supply parameters in order to optimize stock, minimize costs and maximize service
  • Anticipate potential service issues, working with international teams and the distribution centre to solve
  • Execute the procurement plan to send the correct supply needs to S&OP teams
  • Communicate risks to the business, ensuring stakeholders have accurate and timely availability information
  • Compile the KPI reports, animate the root cause analysis and action plans with business to improve KPIs
  • Work alongside key business partners to manage through the supply of large customer demands in the most effective way
  • Suggest and implement improvements to our supply planning practices

Essential & Desirable Skills:


  • Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Ability to engage and positively influence internal & external stakeholders. Ability to manage upwards.
  • Experience within supply planning or relevant supply chain role is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the role of the Supply Chain and its impacts on the business performance.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and simplify complex messages.
  • Analytical/Organizational skills
  • Have strong planning and organizational skills to manage complex situations with the ability to reprioritise as required.
  • Have good analytical skills showing good attention to details
  • Systems Knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, SAP and Power-Bi are an advantage.
