As a Public Transport Coordinator, you'll have an incredibly varied role.You'll make sure that mainstream school children have the right transport in place and that their needs are catered for.
Our clients attend over 400 different establishments within Kent and beyond and you'll be responsible for arranging the transport services that take them there, from taxis and minibuses to coaches and buses.
You will also be responsible for the planning, procurement and contract management of the Councils subsidised public bus services and more generally have an oversight of the public bus network in Kent attending to and responding to enquiries of a varied nature.
While you'll work collaboratively with a range of audiences, you'll also create positive working relationships with our suppliers and clients.
As part of your daily routine you will; implement transport arrangements by identifying space on existing services, where necessary purchase new services using our unique portal, manage contractual agreements, carry out admin tasks using bespoke ICT systems, or engage with internal and external colleagues to undertake focused activities.
To succeed, you'll be organised, passionate about supporting the people of Kent, and have keen eye for transport.And as a real people person with customer service experience, you'll be confident talking to different people in potentially challenging situations.

You'll work from home and with your colleagues in our office and be flexible working 37 hours per week usually between 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00.
