Acorn is currently recruiting for a Plumbing Supervisor to work within the Aneurin Bevan Health Board Hospital in the Newport area

Job Summary:

To supervise and coordinate a group of multiskilled maintenance staff and other trades including maintenance assistants and apprentices.
To be responsible for the effective planning and efficient use of labour
To be responsible for auditing completed PPM records, carried out by the staff
To allocate labour to the Works and Estate Response Desk, planned preventative maintenance, and/or minor works schemes
To be involved in the successful resolution of complex faults on all types of building services systems and equipment.
You will be involved in the successful resolution of complex faults on all types of building service systems and equipment
Must be computer literate
Mechanical/plumbing knowledge or experience is essential
Excellent Data Entry and attentional to detail
Work in an organised manner, being flexible in moving between tasks and reprioritising workloads when needed
BMS Knowledge is desired but not essential

Pay rate:
£ £16.84 per hour however these are due to raise on the 1st April

Free parking on site

Temporary position

Monday to Friday - 8am - 4pm

Additional hours may sometimes be necessary in certain circumstances due to service needs.
