About the role:


We are looking for a receptionist on a 12 month fixed term contract to service the Head Office reception desk and provide a warm and professional welcome for all clients, colleagues and queries.


The usual working hours will be 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday based from our offices in Camden, with occasional cover (at least once per month) on either the early or late shift which are 07:30 - 15:00 or 12:00 - 20:00.


What you'll be doing:


  • Welcoming all visitors to the SSP offices, ensuring they sign in and relevant colleagues notified of their arrival.
  • Answer all incoming telephone enquiries, redirecting them to the appropriate colleague/team where necessary.
  • Liaise with internal divisions/departments and external organisations on any administrative support they may require.
  • Maintain & update the phone directory for head office, the UK & Group user accounts on the travel providers website and any other system admin services required.
  • Ensure appropriate systems and processes are developed and maintained to support effective and efficient day to day running of the office.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to use your own initiative, prioritising effectively and multitasking.
  • Tact and discretion, for dealing with confidential information.
  • Confident working with all levels of management.
