What you'll be doing
As Food & Beverage Team Member, you will be working in the Open Lobby area of our hotel, where you will be providing exceptional service to our guests in all areas, ensuring all our guests, conference delegates and visitors experience the highest levels of service and engagement, creating 10 out of 10 experiences.
This role is shift working on a rota basis, rotas are planned and communicated two weeks in advance and shift times range from 07.00am am for Morning shifts or between 18.00pm to 23.

Holiday Inn Preston hotel stands in the heart of the city centre, a short drive from the M6 motorway.
Preston bus station is next door, while Preston train station, a 15-minute walk away, offers direct links to Manchester Airport (MAN).
Within a 12-minute drive of the M6, M55, M61 and M65 motorways, the hotel offers limited free parking (first-come, first-served).
Our Modern Open Lobby the space is fresh and stylish, incorporating vibrant colours, locally inspired artwork and contemporary furnishings to create the ultimate chill out space.
We have 133 bedrooms across 6 floors that were refurbished in 2019 with the design falling in line to match the open lobby refurbishment.

Job Profile
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working to Brand Standards and Departmental Standards to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensuring set up, preparation and close down procedures are adhered to.
- Learn sufficient product knowledge to be able to complete role with confidence.
- Be multiskilled over all areas of Food and Beverage & Bar
- Work within licensing laws when serving alcohol
- Support other departments to create cohesion between all areas
- Assisting manager to ensure all targets and metrics are achieved
- Upholding food hygiene standards within food and beverage areas
- Problem handling and resolution to ensure guest satisfaction
