MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB


To provide support, advice and assistance to women and their children who have experienced domestic violence and abuse and are staying in the refuge.

The post-holder will work to empower and support women and children to make positive choices.

To establish resettlement services to support women and children to move on from refuge accommodation.


The post-holder work as part of the refuge team, with clients who live in the refuge after being referred via the Front Door Service.

To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours on a rota basis.

_**It is essential that the post holder has a driving licence and access to a car for work purposes as this role covers multiple sites.
