About the role:
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join our Alternative Provision team as a Youth Worker and Mentor. The Youth Worker and Mentor will play a crucial role by supporting with the running of the Alternative Provision.


The role of the Youth Worker and Mentor is to support young people by providing positive opportunities, to help them build positive relationships and make informed life choices.

The overall aim is to help improve their resilience, confidence, general mental health, and wellbeing.

The Youth Worker and Mentor will assist by providing the relevant type of support that will encourage young people to explore positive pathways in education, training, and employment.


The Youth Worker and Mentor will work closely with the Community Education Manager to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Alternative Provision.

The Youth Worker and Mentor will also play a pivotal role during the sessions by providing support to the teachers and tutors to manage behaviour.
