Description

Working with a global leading construction and infrastructure company, we are seeking Technical Auditors to join them on a permanent basis, due to extensive growth.

This role involves the auditing of quality assurance processes set out by the business against set certification in the build process.

Auditors can choose to be based in the office in Glasgow, or work on a flexible/hybrid basis.

The role will require office-based training to ensure knowledge of the sector and certifications and policies are fully learnt. Once comfortable it will move to a hybrid model.

The salary for this position is £32,000 per annum and welcome to individuals in like-minded positions, graduates with a construction and/or sustainability-based qualification, or someone in the construction industry with some exposure to auditing or quality assurance checks.

  • Ability to check vast amounts of data and paperwork in a short time period to ensure procedures have been followed
  • Highly organised to maintain accurate administration records and projects work
  • Confident in providing feedback and supporting notes to documentation
  • Interest and knowledge of the construction industry
  • Understanding of third party and environmental certification such as BREEAM, NABERS, SABER or similar
  • Vast understanding of Microsoft based systems as well as the ability to learn quickly on other IT based systems internally
  • Knowledge of buildings certification, with a focus on BREEAM (basic understanding is suitable, with full training provided)
  • Advanced user of computerbased systems, such as Microsoft excel.
  • Knowledge of building design and technical drawings is desirable but not essential
This position will involve high levels of communication with internal and external contacts at different levels. The role requires someone who can manage multiple projects at once, as well as self-prioritising workload.

The company is hiring quickly, with the construction sector continuing to experience growth, therefore taking on more projects and new staff, some of whom will require mentoring and training (we are looking for a motivated team player).
