We are looking for an experienced Assistant Fire Safety Consultant to join our Bristol team.You will form a vital part of an integrated fire engineering and fire safety management team, delivering enhanced fire safety through all phases of the building lifecycle.
The role will involve working on exciting projects across various sectors for example, nuclear projects, our involvement in sustainable development, buildings with historic significance etc.
Responsibilities:
- Development of fire safety strategies from inception through to completion for a variety of project types, on time and to budget.
- Fire risk assessments and surveys of existing buildings.
- Technical report writing.
- Preparation of design drawings and review of drawings prepared by others.
- Proficient in fire safety design, legislation, and construction technology.
- Networking and expansion of client base.
Requirements:
- A BSc (Hons) in a relevant building, engineering or technical field would be preferable.
- NEBOSH Fire or equivalent.
- FE Fire risk assessor
- Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible.
- Willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Ability to work on multiple projects.
- Excellent presentation and client facing skills.
