Do you have experience within a Legal firm?


The successful Legal Cashier / Finance Manager will carry out the day to day running of the accounts department on a full-time basis, as well as heading up the accounts team.

The main responsibilities of the role will encompass all the legal practice finance functions, including:

  • Maintain the firm's accounts in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and Law Society/QS practise management standards
  • Maintain Client account, office account and purchase ledger, including bank reconciliations, bank payments, billing and queries


  • Production of Month

  • End, prepare monthly management reports


  • Production Year

  • End and Liaise with our accountants
  • Prepare audit file and liaise with auditors over the partnership accounts and the SRA Accountants Report.
  • Administer monthly payroll and pension arrangements
  • Complete quarterly VAT returns
  • Provide our conveyancing team with timely transaction information
  • Renewal of Professional Indemnity Insurance and Practise Certificates
