Bolton

£136 -£162 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The role

In Year 2 the teacher is required to use assessment to plan and monitor pupil progress and increase knowledge through memory recall, developing opportunities for questioning and supporting peer progress.


Welcome children and their parents, provide engaging and active learning materials, or use what has been set up in a resourceful and engaging manner.


What does the role of the Year 2 Teacher look like?

  • Able to assess and monitor for progression within SATS
  • Experience preparing for SATS
  • Supportive with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Calm, measured with a positive attitude

The school are looking for the following:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status PGCE (QTS), NQTS/ECTS will be considered.
  • Will have recent experience working in Primary School.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of teachers.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
  • The ability feedback and progress children based on your reporting and children's development.


This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced or newly qualified Primary Teacher to work as part of a team with an aim to ensure that every child achieves their potential of these through the provision of a safe, warm, secure and caring.
