Description

Our client a leading council are Looking for an experienced social worker to work at Advanced Practitioner level for £40 per hour for cover for current vacancies.

The role would be as a social worker in one of the locality teams in Rotherham.

We work with children and their families under Child in Need plans, Child Protection Plans or through pre-proceedings and Court proceedings.

Average caseloads are 21 and the teams are stable.

  • Carrying out risk assessments in complex cases
  • Experience of multiagency working
  • Undertaking safeguarding investigations
  • Managing/mentoring staff or students where responsibility for the supervision, direction, coordination, training and development of staff can be evidenced
  • To proactively provide workshop facilitation, educational opportunities, and other practice development activities. To ensure an appropriate number of social work staff are working towards post qualification awards and to ensure the authority can meet its statutory duties.
