This post is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of the 5-Year More Than Just Words Plan and the Welsh Language Standards for our Health Board, and to bring your passion for Welsh to an organisation where it will make a huge difference.

This is a varied role and would be perfect for anyone with an interest in translation and policy.

  • The post holder will provide a specialist translation service from English to Welsh and from Welsh to English to enable the Health Board to implement the principle that it will not treat Welsh less favourably than English, in accordance with Welsh Language legislation and the Welsh Language Standards.
  • The post holder will provide advice, guidance and support to colleagues including Board Members, Executive Director for People and Corporate Functions on matters involving Welsh language policy.
  • This role will provide support to the Welsh Language Lead and the Senior Executive Team in the development and delivery of the Welsh language agenda.
  • The post holder will help to deliver a comprehensive Welsh language service in line with Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board's Welsh language policies and procedures and the Welsh Language Standards.
