EY180 Transport Planner

Location:
Manchester

Salary:
£27.5K - £32.5 (inc. salary, overtime, and bonus)

Hours:
Your daily shift will start 09:00-17:00 + overtime opportunities - There may at times be a need for weekend work at enhanced rate.

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Transport Planner on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning daily pickups and deliveries of high value goods
Maintaining stock balance as per our MA system (which will be shown to you and training given)
Strict following on procedures
Organising the daily workload and helping in driving and delivery of good if needed
Always Ensuring the safety and protection of assets and each other.
Always Providing an excellent level of customer service
Respecting your teammates and following the company's guidelines and procedures
When driving a MA vehicle, you are to follow all road safety regulations
Always Maintaining a high level of vigilance
Completing daily reports and daily stock if needed
Carrying out other adhoc duties as requests
You will be working in a small busy team that is committed to delivering highest level of service

Skills and Qualifications:

Must hold a Full Clean UK Driving Licence
Holding an SIA licence is an advantage but not essential (courses will be made available)
Excellent ethics and integrity
Collaborative work style (always feel free to talk anything through at any time)
Excellent customer service
Must have IT experience with Outlook and Excel
This role requires references to be provided for the last 5 years as well as a successful DBS check
