VP of Engineering

Salary:
£110,000 - £150,000

Skills Required

  • Strong experience as a Director or VP of Engineering;
  • Experience leading other managers, scaling and growing teams
  • Ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy
  • Strong Leadership skills a leader by example
  • Show solid technical knowledge to engage engineers in architecture and product decsions
  • Experience within a fastgrowing Fintech or SAAS organisation

Responsibilities:


  • Grow the engineering team without compromising the existing engineering culture
  • Work in conjunction with our CTO to design and implement our technology strategy both short and longterm.
  • Instill ownership and accountability, a learning and collaborative environment, that demands very high standards creating an environment where everyone can excel.
  • Be heavily involved with the growth of the team and the hiring processes.
  • Promote the principles of high technical productivity, simplicity, and reliability.
  • Have a focus on scaling quickly and efficiently with the ability to meet deadlines and budget demands.
