  • What Is the Opportunity?
  • Under moderate supervision performs nonroutine, moderately complex administrative work. This role does not manage others
What Will You Do?

  • Provides moderately complex secretarial/administrative support for senior managers, individuals or departments.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas and minutes.
  • Maintains files, records, calendars and diaries.
  • May arrange business travel for one or more individuals and coordinate meeting arrangements.
  • May be required to provide support for events.
  • May prepare and submit expense accounts and other type expenses.
  • May have delegated authority for some departmental administration (e.g. authorising annual leave requests, sickness absence etc).
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of administrative standards, policies and practices for the organisation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Prior experience as an administrator.
  • High School education or equivalent preferred
  • General knowledge of administrative support, preferably within Financial Services.
  • Intermediate tact, discretion and courtesy required.
  • Intermediate conflict resolution skills preferred via phone and occasionally in person.
  • Basic understanding of change management concepts.
  • Advanced ability to maintain highly confidential information includingbusiness plans, legal actions, etc.
What is a Must Have?

  • Basic numeracy required.
  • Accurate touch typing skills required.
  • Basic judgment and problem solving required.
What Is in It for You?

  • Private Medical Insurance: On commencement of employment, you are eligible for single cover provided by Travelers, with the option to add cover for your dependents, at your expense through payroll deduction.
  • Retirement: Travelers will make a basic contribution of 9% of pensionable salary to your Group Personal Pension Plan ("GPPP"). If you decide to contribute an additional amount from your salary, you will receive an increased company contribution up to a maximum of 3%. This would bring the total company contribution to 12%.
