Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to all TTFL staff, inhouse and remote.
- Implement and support offsite networks for teams working in studios.
- Monitor and maintain company systems, network, security, server and backups.
- Support and mentor junior support staff.
- Work closely with IT Manager on assigned projects, implementing new tech or improving existing systems
- Work closely with Pipeline team to resolve artists issues and implement improvements
- Cover junior support if, and when, needed
- Deployments, studio travel, purchases, asset management etc.
- Follow strict company and departmental policies, procedure and processes.
- Perform miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned by the IT Manager
Essential Skills:
- A computing degree or recent related qualifications
- Two to three years' experience in a similar environment supporting users
- Good understanding of workstation builds and performance
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Support Windows and Linux environments
- Windows 10, Win Server 2012 & 2016, SL
- Basic scripting bash, PowerShell
- Data management syncs, backups, restores and archives
- Systems monitoring and alerts
- Active Directory management
- Security, GPOs
- Experience supporting Networks and Firewalls
- VLANS, Routing, Policies etc
- Supporting VMs
- VMWare
- Documentation, support ticket management and clear communication
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in a media production environment
- Understanding of animation pipeline
- Configuring and collecting metrics for monitoring and alerts
- Deployment using WDS, MDT, WPKG
- Supporting Sonicwall and pfsense firewalls
- Using Netbackup or BackupExec
- Basic understanding of Linux automation
- Puppet
- Supporting GSuite
- Windows Remote Desktop Services
- RemoteApp
