Gaydon (Hybrid 3/2 Split)

£29.63 per hour Umbrella

We are looking for a Technical Group Lead to join a world-leading automotive company based in Gaydon on a contract basis.

Technical Group Leader is responsible for geometric, attribute and system integration for an engineering zone on the architecture.

You will lead cross-functional engineering teams to drive functional and attribute targets and act as the voice of the customer.

Drive and deliver vehicle-level end-to-end technical delivery plans for key systems, identifying inter-dependencies and maturation versus customer requirements, throughout virtual and physical test phases.

Leading the Technical Problem Resolution Cross-Squad or cross-zone including arbitration and escalation as required.

Skills Required for the Technical Group Lead:

Excellent technical communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
Project Management experience in a technical area
Engineering delivery background with experience making datadriven decisions.

Experience Required for the Technical Group Lead:

Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience Preferred for the Technical Group Lead:

Jira experience desirable,
Agile experience or training.

Education Preferred for the Technical Group Lead:

Collaborate with Technical Group Leads and Engineers, to ensure that robust technical delivery is enabled throughout the programme.
Coordinate Technical Integration and DV activities within your group or across all groups.
Act as a key interface with our Test and development teams to ensure seamless creation and management of prototype plans.
Act as a key interface with our Virtual Series teams to ensure seamless management of all Virtual Series activities.
Lead technical issues resolution, either within your group or across multiple groups/domains.
Led the update and reporting of programme health charts for robust technical gateway delivery.
Management of DV planning and reportout.
Lead the consolidation of Technical Gateway evidence data.
Lead the Automated Issues Management process, reporting, and escalation.
