The Role
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced supervisor to join our busy production team.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and department supervisors, your role will be to manage, plan and organise the Labelling and Filling teams.

The role, along with other supervisory responsibilities, will include:
Overseeing production staff in the filling of bulk liquid products into a variety of labelled customer packaging.

Ensuring the necessary resources are available to meet process deadlines, customer requirement dates and production targets, whilst maintaining high levels of quality and following all safe systems of work.

Communicating across departmental functions to ensure planned production can be met.

Working with customer service to enable clear lines of communication with our customers.

Monitoring workflow and identifying improvements in efficiency.

Managing working hours and overtime in accordance with demand.

Encouraging and developing production staff; leading in training and identifying opportunities.

Managing absence, including undertaking return to work interviews.

Assisting in the recruitment process for additional production staff.

Participating in regular production meetings with the supervisory team.


The Person
A supervisor with proven experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.

The ability to influence, lead and react positively to multiple tasks, ensuring clear prioritisation.

A self-starter able to work using their own initiative.

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and a strong team player.

A desire to improve efficiencies, with a can-do attitude.

Good I.T. skills


Hours
Mon-Thurs 8.30am-5.00pm Fri 8.30am-2.30pm

Paid overtime available to meet demand

Full-time, Permanent following a successful probationary period.
