Description

We are looking for an Administration Team Leader to join our workforce, this is an exciting, varied and challenging role leading the admin team who are responsible for providing a range of administrative support to senior managers and clinicians and to ensure the smooth running of the service.

They proactively contribute to the delivery of our vision, strategic aims and outcomes.

The post holder will provide comprehensive and pro-active team leadership, taking overall responsibility for co-ordinating administrative and secretarial services, and managing administrative staff within the inpatient and community services, ensuring that all administrative tasks are undertaken efficiently, effectively and to a high standard.


Responsibility for a day-to-day range of staff management matters, which will include line management of the admin team, responsibility for supporting appraisals, development of staff, recruitment and where necessary employee relations matters.


Responsibility for all issues relating to recruitment and selection, and induction of all new staff, ensuring that the Trust recruitment and selection policy is adhered to.

Oversee the shop procurement and financial banking for the service.

Co-ordinating administrative tasks, ensuring that the administrative services function on a day-to-day basis.


Establishing and operating effective administrative, secretarial and filing systems, IT systems and procedures related to the work of the office.

Project management, including planning and organising a range of work events, for example, the programmes annual international conference.


Providing diary management for senior members of staff, organising large meetings, liaising with several external stakeholders across a wide geographical area.

Providing administrative support to meetings as necessary.
