Our client a leading London based Investment Bank who are looking to expand their compliance team and this is an exciting team to join

The oversight of Treasury will focus on the market facing trading, structuring and issuance teams in Treasury and the role holder will be a part of the Markets Compliance team locally and Treasury Compliance team globally.

Key Accountabilities
The role holder will provide Compliance oversight of relevant Treasury teams, which includes the market facing 'Treasury Funding & Investments' team and 'Principal Investments'

Accountabilities include:

Provide technical advice with indepth knowledge of relevant rules and regulations.
Develop effective partnerships with key stakeholders/trading teams, Compliance colleagues and other infrastructure areas to ensure effective and consistent Compliance advice.
Review and advise on transaction proposals and new and amended products.
Participate in relevant governance processes and forums
Act as a point of contact for Treasury on applicable Policies, Standards, procedures, rules or regulations and internal controls.
Conduct targeted testing for areas under coverage and support Compliance Assurance colleagues with scoping, planning and executing Compliance reviews to help oversee the ongoing operation and maintenance of key controls.
Conduct new hire, adhoc and annual Compliance training sessions for business.
Manage any escalations or requests from Compliance Services teams, such as Surveillance and Employee Compliance.
