REClifts is now looking for a skilled and Senior Technical Lift Engineer to provide technical support and lift testing expertise in a dual role as Lift Technician and Lift Tester of goods and passenger lifts.
Lift Tester Role Overview:
The Technician will report to the Technical & QHSE Manager.
The Technical Department is responsible for assembly and testing of Lift Controllers for the Lift Components Division, providing technical support to customers and colleagues, testing of installed lifts and supporting new product development.
The role is predominantly based in Yorkshire with some travel support on sites around the UK on occasion but this will be fully supplemented at the expense of the company.
Lift Tester Role Responsibilities:
- Conducting lift testing supporting the Specialist Lifts & Services Division with their installation projects ad hoc amount of days per month.
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance are met.
- Making modifications to controllers to fulfil a specification for a specific customer order.
- Testing finished controllers ready for despatch to customers
- After sales support to customers for New Lifts, Lift Spares and Specialist Lifts & Services Working within Integrated Management System and CRM software to ensure accurate records are maintained
Lift Tester Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 4 in Lifts and Escalators
- Experience of a similar role in the UK Lift Industry providing telephone & onsite technical support withinThe UK lift industry.
- Broad knowledge of Lift equipment in circulation in the UK.
- Prior experience and training of industry related Health & Safety issues (including Safe methods of working, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, etc)
- 6 pm
