Description

Working in a highly pressurised booking centre environment to provide a professional, efficient and effective administrative support to the booking service, inpatient ward and day unit for a variety of out patients clinics, day unit admissions and inpatient care.


Using initiative in sometimes complex situations to ensure that patient administration is maintained in line with local and national Cancer policies.


Work as part of a multi disciplinary team, supporting other team members to deliver patient focused service, providing administrative support to the outpatients department booking centre, in-patient ward and day unit at periods of absence.

An opportunity has arisen to join the Clinical Oncology and Clinical Haematology Team as an Administration Assistant.


The successful applicant will be adaptable and have the ability to work to in a fast paced environment undertaking a range of administration processes with confidence and efficiency including filing, collection of patient case notes for clinic and provide cover to Wards, Reception and Outpatient areas.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is fixed term for 12 months for maternity cover.
