Events Team Manager - Liverpool St - International Company - £44,000 Salary

About the role:

Our client is looking for a Team Manager to join their dynamic venue sourcing team.

In this role, you will be developing and mentoring your team, have key stakeholder engagement, venue sourcing, negotiating, reviewing contracts, along with monitoring servicedelivery.


You will lead your team to deliver a high-quality service, ensure that they adhere to processes, along with developing your team members to create a high performing team.

You will also be integral in supporting the wider management team in delivering a cultureof continuous improvement and service excellence.

As a Team Manager you will:

  • Day to day line management, mentoring and development of your team
  • Have overall responsibility for your assigned team from the allocation of workloads, monitoring SLA's and financial KPI's
  • Consult with stakeholders to gather all requirements to deliver the right event solution to meet their objectives
  • Manage external vendors and suppliers for sourcing, negotiating, contracting and service delivery
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings as required

You're good at:


  • Communication listening, written and verbal able to interpret our client's objectives to be delivered into all aspects of their event
  • Ability to instill confidence in your clients that we are experts in our field
  • Ensuring your team deliver on obtaining the right venue for the client requirements, have secured the best deal without compromising on quality
  • Mentoring, developing team members with experience of line management of a team
  • Wealth of hotel, conference centre and destination knowledge in the UK and overseas
  • Ability to react, think on your feet, offer solutions, work on multiple projects and timelines at once
